Papua Dance / パプアダンス


Yamko Rambe Yamko originally is a traditional song from Papua. It has a cheerful and upbeat tempo the lyrics told us about the pain and distress of colonial period. The dance of this song created to introduce the Asmat tribe culture in Papua. The dance fulfilled with an energetic and vigorous movement, sometimes event acrobatic. The dancer used traditional costumes of Asmat tribes which made from straw, wood, bone, etc.
